Snow and Fire Hydrants News Release

The Grandview Fire Department reminds everyone to adopt a fire hydrant near their home. With the possibility of snow and snow drifting in the next 12 to 20 hours, it is very important that we find a fire hydrant when a fire occurs. Shovel out a path from the street to around the hydrant. We and your neighbors Thank You!

Remember to shovel snow drifts away from your gas meter and heater exhaust vent. The gas meter needs to vent to operate correctly and the heater exhaust needs to vent deadly Carbon Monoxide outside of your home.
