 n November of 2001, voters approved a 1/2 cent sales tax increase to construct and operate a community center in Grandview. The center is located on the north end of Meadowmere Park, joining a skate park and the existing outdoor aquatics center, picnic shelters, playground, trail and sports fields already in the park. With the addition of the community center, Meadowmere Park became a one-stop recreation site for families and residents of all ages. The View opened in February of 2004.
