Aquatics
During those hot summer days, there's no better place to be in Grandview than our two outdoor aquatic centers-Meadowmere Pool and John Anderson Pool! Featuring a combined total of 2 "Wet 'n' Wild" water slides, 4 tube slides, diving boards, water geysers, sand volleyball courts, and colorful playgrounds, our pools offer fun for all ages. Coming in 2005 is a 6 foot by 20 foot bouldering wall.
Swim lessons offered at Grandview pools are a great way for children to learn water safety and skills. Individual and family season passes are available for a great low price and are good at both pools! For information about swim lessons or getting a season pass, call us at (816) 316-4875.
Meadowmere Pool - 13610 Byars Road
Regular Season is from Early-June to Mid-August. Closed Mondays. For information on hours of operation call (816) 316-4888 or (816) 316-4886. Amenities featured include 1 "Wet 'n' Wild" body slide, 2 tube slides, diving boards, sand volleyball courts, a fun water geyser field, chaise lounge chairs, and wading pool. Don't forget to look for our 6 foot by 20 foot bouldering wall coming in 2005.
John Anderson Pool - 4701 E. 135th Street
Regular Season is from Early-June to Mid-August. It will be open weekends until Labor Day (Aug 26 & 27 and Sep 1, 2, & 3). Closed Tuesdays and Sundays. For information on hours of operation call (816) 316-4888 or (816) 316-4886. Features a "Wet 'n' Wild" body slide, 2 tube slides, diving board, chaise lounge chairs, and wading pool. The pool is be available for rent for birthday parties, company picnics, etc.
