Parks & Shelters

Grandview has 13 parks totaling over 200 acres of beautiful landscape, natural wildlife, playgrounds, 4 ball field complexes, several sports fields and shelters galore. Take a leisurely stroll or bike ride along one of our three trails: Little Blue River Trail which runs through Meadowmere Park and connects to Longview Lake Trail is .75 miles long, John Anderson Park Heritage Trail is .56 miles long, and the Mapleview Park Trail is .25 miles long.

Our shelter houses are available for your family reunions, picnics, birthdays, and any get together where you would like to enjoy the splendor of the outdoors! The shelters are available on a first-come, first-serve basis, so make your reservations in advance by calling (816) 316-4888. See below for a complete guide to our parks.
