he Public Works Department is charged with the design, construction, and maintenance of the City's infrastructure, including storm and sanitary sewers and streets. Additional activities of the department include the review and granting of permits for any work conducted by another party within the City's rights-of-way; traffic control issues; snow removal; Community Clean-Up Program; Trashbusters Program; waste oil and tire disposal; reporting streetlight outages/problems; requesting additional streetlights within the City; and household hazardous waste disposal reimbursement. The department is divided into three divisions - Engineering, Street Maintenance, and Sewer Maintenance.
