Police reports and traffic accident reports are generally available within 7 to 10 business days. Requests for reports must be made in writing or in person, and must be accompanied by a fee of $5.00. Please provide as much identifying information as possible, including report number, date of report, location of incident, victim name(s), etc.
Only the initial incident report will be released at requests from general public. Certain identification information will be removed, and investigative reports will not be released until such time as the case becomes an open record under Missouri Sunshine Law.
