Business Recruitment Rewards Program

The City of Grandview is providing an opportunity for Residents and Business People to become an active participant in the City’s economic growth through the Business Recruitment Rewards Program, a program launched last year. The program can compensate individuals from up to $5,000 for helping attract new companies to the City.
The amount of rewards for businesses recruited will range from $1,000 to $5,000. The reward payments are dependent upon the number of employees hired by firms recruited under the program.
Business prospects suggested for the program must meet location criteria established by the City. Companies that generally qualify for benefits under Grandview’s new Enhanced Enterprise Zones are considered prime targets likely to be eligible for the rewards program.
Other prospective targets are firms that will be unique in Grandview and that draw market dollars from outside the area. Another category of targeted companies are industries--such as suppliers and distributors for the building trades, businesses that do well in the City because of its location advantages.
