Overview
What is this project?
The I-49/US-71 Sustainable Redevelopment Corridor Plan will create a holistic vision for the commercial spine of Grandview – the developments, land uses, street network, and other elements that make up the highway corridor through our city. This project is an opportunity to set a course for the future.

Why is the I-49 Plan important?
I-49 is the front door of Grandview for the 75,000+ people who drive through our city every day. This project aims to create a plan for attracting new investment and development, improving the quality of life for Grandview residents and businesses, and improving the character of the corridor. We can build upon the improvements along Main Street and the designation of I-49 to create high quality activity centers along I-49/US-71.

Why should I get involved?
Your knowledge and insights are a critical part of this project. As someone who works, lives, and/or drives through this area, you know the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead. Sharing your feedback ensures that the plan will address the right issues, create strategies that work for our community, and attract new customers, visitors, and residents to the area.

How does this affect my business?
This plan can benefit local businesses through a revitalized I-49 corridor that includes amenities to attract residents and visitors, a transportation network that is easy to navigate, and high quality development. Building long-term success starts with your participation in this project.
You can help improve the front door of Grandview – be part of the I-49 planning process!
