The City of Grandview is now accepting applications for the full-time position of FINANCE ASSISTANT. The City of Grandview is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Duties: provides administrative support to Finance Director and Assistant Finance Director, works closely with other administrative assistants throughout the City, invoice entry and purchase order entry into FMS (Financial Management Systems), provides training and technical assistance to departments on accounts payable and purchase order processing, prepares all invoices for payment processing, prepares bill schedules and distributes A/P checks, assists with the City’s P-Card process and provides training and assistance to departments, reviews employee travel requests for compliance with City travel policy, assists with the annual financial audit process by providing various financial schedules, assists with maintenance of the general ledger, manages new vendors and 1099 vendors in FMS, order departmental supplies, manages delinquent sewer collections, assists with various purchasing issues.

Minimum Requirements: Associate degree or five plus years experience in accounts receivable, accounts payable or a related field. Requires strong data entry skills and knowledge of accounting principles and data processing. Must be detail orientated, well organized with knowledge of various computer software and office equipment, accounts payable and accounts receivable procedures. 

Pay: $14.74–$20.87 per hour plus an excellent benefit package.
