Alderman Annette Turnbaugh is a lifelong Grandview lifetime resident, Grandview High School graduate and has lived in Ward II for 16 years. She was a full-time staff member of the Jackson County Advocate, Grandview’s local newspaper, for 26 years, starting work there at the age of 19. Her father started the newspaper in January, 1953, when Main Street ended at 5th Street. 

• First elected April 6, 2010
• First position in public service
• Community Service includes: a former board member and current member of the Grandview Chamber of Commerce; Downtown Preservation Commission; and Parks and Recreation Commission
• Implemented the Grandview Community Phone Directory
• International Arabian Horse Judge since 1981
• Attended Longview Community College
