Getting Back to Business

Post Date:05/15/2020

Physical barriers at counters, temperature checks upon entry, and lots of social distancing reminders. These are just some of the changes people can expect to see as most Grandview City facilities reopen to the public on Monday, May 18 under phase one of the City Reopening Plan.

The City has finalized its reopening plan and phases and is currently carrying out a successful soft reopening to understand crowd flow and test out the new entry requirements. The plan can be found at www. grandview.org/covid19.

CITY HALL (including DMV office and Jackson County Tax Collections)
Hours: M-F 8AM-5PM

Beginning Monday, City Hall will be fully staffed and 15 customers will be allowed inside. All staff and visitors will undergo temperature checks before entry and masks are required to enter. We will provide masks to those without one.

DMV and Collections customers need to sign in online at www.grandview.org/qless for same-day service, or they can drop-off their paperwork (no cash please) at the front doors. Processing will take at least 24 hours). The system will stop taking appointments at 3:00PM.

Anyone needing to conduct other business inside City Hall needs to make an appointment with the appropriate department.
