Rental and Non-Owner Occupied Residential Registration

Approved by the Board of Aldermen January 22, 2019, this new ordinance (below) will require inspections of rental and non-owner occupied property before being occupied by tenants.

  • View the INSPECTION CHECKLIST.
  • Please call (816) 316-4819 or (816) 316-4817 to SCHEDULE AN INSPECTION.
  • Please call (816) 316-4823 or (816) 316-4817 to PAY INSPECTION CERTIFICATE FEES.
    • Inspections are only required between occupancy before a new tenant can move in.
    • Inspection Certificate Fee is $20 per dwelling.
    • Inspection Certificate Fee payments are required before a dwelling can be occupied.
    • Inspection Certificates will not be provided until payment is made.  

Missouri's Medical Marijuana Law: Title 19 – Department of Health and Senior Services, Division 30 – Division of Regulation and Licensure, Chapter 95 – Medical Marijuana (19 CSR 30-95.030) 
(4) (D) states: Nothing in this section shall convey or establish a right to cultivate medical marijuana in a facility where state law or a private contract would otherwise prohibit doing so.
