Items commonly requested for a Pre-Application meeting include: 
  • New Commercial and Multi-Family Residential Projects
  • Redevelopment Projects
  • Site Plan Review 
  • Land Subdivisions 
  • Development in Planned Districts
  • Zoning Map Amendments
  • Zoning Text Amendments
Scheduling a Pre-Application Meeting:
  • Fill-out the Pre-Application Request Form - download the pdf. 
  • Attach or include supporting information such as drawings, summary, site plan or other information as needed.
  • Submit the Request by noon on Friday prior to the meeting date to Amy Cook, Development Technician at acook@grandview.org
  • Once received, staff will contact the applicant to schedule a date and time.

The Development Review Team attends the Pre-Application meeting and typically includes: 

  • Director of Community Development
  • City Planner
  • Building Official
  • Fire Marshal
  • City Engineer
  • Representative from Jackson County Water District #1.

Applicants are encouraged to have the following representatives attend the Pre-Application meeting:

  • General contractors
  • Architects
  • Engineers
  • Surveyors
  • Property owners and any other individuals associated with the project
