About 38 million people in the United States have diabetes, and even scarier... about 98 million adults - over a third of the population - have prediabetes. And more than 8 in 10 of them don't know they have it. 

This is why we have partnered with Cary Skelton and Wellness 4 Prevention to better the health and education around health for the Grandview Community with our Diabetes Prevention Program.  The program starts in March and will last 12 months. If qualified, the program is fully covered under Medicaid and Medicare, too.

Senior Trips

Throughout the year, we take Seniors on a variety of outings within the metro area. From trips to museums to New Dinner Theater, you never know what fun lies ahead! The cost varies depending on the trip, but it always includes transportation from The View.

Each year, we invite Seniors to the Senior Thanksgiving Dinner to kick-off the holiday season together! Food will be provided by Elks Lodge and all we ask if you bring a dessert that will feed 6 people.

Senior Thanksgiving in 2024 will be on November 21st from 4:30-6:30pm at the Grandview Elks Lodge. Please register HERE

We have a variety of games to choose from! Join us multiple times a week for game time with friends!

Social Stitching:  Wednesdays at 9:00am 

Chess:  Thursdays from 4:00 - 8:00pm 

Bingo: Fridays from 8:00am - 12:00pm 

Bridge:  3rd Tuesday of each month from 12:00pm - 4:30pm (will not meet in December)
