The City of Grandview has six Aldermen, two from each of the three Wards.

Grandview's elected officials actively participate in local, state and national organizations for the betterment of the community such as the Missouri Municipal League and its West Gate Division, and the National League of Cities.
All of the elected officials volunteer and serve as liaisons on the City's standing boards and commissions and other adhoc committees as needed, in addition to the time they devote to various community and charitable organizations.
